|Recommended: NoA matter of timing — I have lived here for about 15 months. My first year living here was great. The grounds were clean and it was extremely quiet. And I like the location. But things have changed. New neighbors have moved in and now it is the opposite of before Extremely noisy and the grounds are dirty. The neighbors above have no respect for anyone else and are very noisy. Running, jumping, screaming almost 24 hours a day. Where I used to enjoy being in my apartment I now don't even want to come home from work. It's too bad and now I'm looking for another place.
|Recommended: YesAmazing place to live — This is an amazing area to live. The neighbors are friendly, the apartments are clean and the employees are super friendly and on top of their game. I love it here. It's a great place for little ones as well.

|Recommended: YesBest Place I've lived at EVER — I love the Oaks Apartments. Ever since moving to Arizona I've experienced one crappy apartment complex after another. Until my fiance and I moved into the Oaks. Everything is wonderful here and I love the staff. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone and everyone who will listen.

|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — 90 of the time the apartments are always quite. neighbors keep to themselves, staff is wonderful and one of the things I like best Also I was able to have my dog which was not easy I couldn't find many that would allow him. When I got a second dog, my pet rent stayed the same and I didn't have to do another pet deposit. I've lived here over a year now and compared to some other places I've lived this is definitely the best

|Recommended: YesQuiet, Clean, and Friendly Enviroment — We have been residents for a year and nine months now. Our apartment office manager Myra is the best, always so happy, helpful and smiling. We absolutely love our apartment community, they are friendly and in our building, we don't experience noise. The property is always clean and that is very neat to always come home to And lets not forget about our maintenance man, always so quick to get issues within the apartment fixed right away
|Recommended: YesSchool employee — Maintenance WONDERFUL. Leasing manager WONDERFUL. She's helpful and friendly and not fake. She even answers the phone when you call Grounds are clean, no dog poop or litter, pool is clean, laundry room and exercise room both clean and in working order. Ample parking on Rio Salado side. Everything well-lit. A true gem to be sure What a nice place to live I am very, very thankful and blessed You can hear the planes sometimes of Phoenix airport. And you dont have much of a deck. But other than that, great that it's near RiverView Plaza and Riverview Park and Tempe Market Place. I love living at The Oaks. It's quiet and very quality. Just renewed my lease.

|Recommended: YesGreat place for a first apartment — The property is well maintained. Apartments are in great condition. Maintenance is taken care of in a timely fashion. We put in a request one time, and maintenance fixed it that same day. AC is nice and cold during the summer. Management cares about our safety. The complex is well-lit at night with the plenty of flood lights, and there is also a gate at the back entrance. They do a pretty thorough background check, so not just anybody can live here. Regarding noise, we never hear the apartment next to us, but we do hear the people above us sometimes. The property is also close to many nearby places like the Mesa Riverview, Tempe Marketplace, and major highways. Management is exceptional. They do very well with complaints and always follow up. They really do have the residents' best interest in mind.
My only issues with the complex would be a lack of storage space and no washer dryer hook ups in the apartments.
